Tip
from the Expert
You Can Save Money on Your Reception!
The most popular day for weddings is Saturday. This
day is also the most expensive. If you can be flexible on the
day of the week for your wedding, you can save a lot of money.
Selecting a less popular day enables you to negotiate lower fees
or get some extra "perks" thrown in to your package,
like extra servers, centerpieces, or an upgraded reception room.
Fridays and Sundays are great for this because many sites don't
get a lot of requests for Sunday weddings!

Head Table
The focus of the reception room is traditionally the head
table. Here are some head table tips!
1. Keep centerpieces low.
2. Make sure the table is placed where the DJ can see you.
3. Head table seating is traditionally as shown below:
Something Different:
Rather than having the traditional head table, sit at a large
round with your bridal party and their spouses (or dates). If
you have a large bridal party, this may require more than one
table, but allowing your bridal party to sit with their dates
will make the night enjoyable for them, as well!
